I have a esbit pocket stove. It takes small tablets and is very small and light weight.
i use no stove.
What do you do when there is a fire ban??
Then you need a stove.
weve never had a fire ban. if i do have a fire i have it near a steam on a sandy bank, because i live in scotland and the ground is often too peaty. thanks for the advice if there is ever a ban. oh and always seek the landowners permission.
hes like the one off south parkk “what are you talking aboot”
if u not cooking on an open fire, then u are not cmaping, ur a moron from the us pretending to camp lol.
What if you’re treking through an area that isn’t wooded? How would you suggest cooking food in that environment if not with a stove?
What if you were in a tropical region such as a rainforest, and dry wood suitable for fuel was just not available?
@rescul2418 actually, being that you’re from Canada, you must have heard about things like FIRE BANS…where you can’t have an open fire. And most certainly can’t be having a wood fueled fire (sparks and flying embers). Camping isn’t defined by HOW you cook but how you live while doing it. Not to mention, that actually using a wood fire to cook with, is inefficient and environmentally irresponsible. Now I’m no tree hugger, I love wood fires…but there are BETTER ways to camp, then burning wood
Nice video…informative!
