There's one place I know of but it may be more than 2 hours depending where in chicago you are and how fast you drive... It's called Yukon Trails in Lyndon Station WI, they have igloo lookin things for cabins and it's about 15min from Wisconsin Dells (water park capital of the US)... Like I said though, it's probably between the 2-3hr mark from Chicago.

Pretty much any Wisconsin State Park allows alcohol. Cabins not so much, but some of the parks have them for people with disabilities.

State Parks: http://dnr.wi.gov/org/land/parks/specific/findapark.html

If you require a cabin, you'll have to go to private campgrounds / cabin rentals:

Some ARCs have bike training. Some bike clubs love to help new riders. My son (who has Ds) was a part of a typical bike club for many years - he began by riding a tandem bike. He never needed training wheels - went straight from a tandem to a 2 wheeler.

I found that my son could not ride a trike. The pushing forward motion needed he could not do. He also has trouble with a recumbent bike for the same reason.

A full size bike with custom training wheels is nice. We got one for our neighbor for about 300 dollars, the training wheels that is.

How many days are you talking about?

If you were to provide a theme along with each example---
For instance,

Joseph saving from the 7 years of plenty for the 7 years of famine;
Example of Wisdom

The Prophet Jeremiah dropped into a well by the King's advisors, rescued
by the Ethiopian.
Example of Kindness

John the Baptist in the Wilderness
could be an example of
Resourcefulness

Israelites during the Exodus
could be Perserverance

Paul and the Shipwreck
Boldness

Gideon vs. the Moabites
Courage

That's about all I've got off the top of my head!!
Have fun!!

How about Elijah's time in the desert and how the angel prepared him for it? How God provided rest and food to strengthen him for his journey?
